There is a bus change for tomorrow afternoon. Students riding the Eagle bus in the afternoon, who live on Ridge Road, Turkey Cove Road and Wallston Road, will arrive 15-20 minutes later than usual. Students who live along Port Clyde Road will not be affected. Due to a driver's absence, we will be combining two bus routes. There will still be space to maintain our covid-19 safety protocols.
There will be an Emergency School Board Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 3 at 6 p.m. to discuss changing the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving Break (11/23 and 11/24) and Monday and Tuesday before Winter Break (12/21 and 12/22) from student days to teacher workshop days. Please contact Superintendent Mike Felton at m.felton@stgeorgemsu.org or 207.372.6312 for Zoom login information.
Over 100 cars slowly filed past our K-5 ghosts and goblins today to spread some communal warmth on this cold October morning. Thank you everyone for attending this a special event and continuing the tradition of ensuring that Halloween is much more than just a time to eat candy! (Although candy is pretty great too!)

costumes. Families are invited to slowly drive around the loop
and wave! All spectators will need to stay in their car. There will

only drive the loop once, to allow all families the opportunity to
see students in costumes.
A few reminders:
*Please send your child to school with their costume in a bag.
*Please no weapons.
*Please no face paint that needs to be applied at school.
*All students will be wearing a mask during the parade.

Students riding the Eagle bus in the afternoon, who live on Ridge Road, Turkey Cove Road, and Wallston Road will be arriving home 15 to 20 minutes late tomorrow afternoon, Friday, Oct. 9, due to a driver absence and subsequent combination of bus runs. Eagle bus students who live on Route 131 will be unaffected. Today is School Picture Day at St. George School! Everyone has a photo taken for use in this year's yearbook. Ordering photos is optional.

FROM THE ART ROOM! During art class the CREWS from Mrs. Thompsons 1st grade and Miss Smiths K-1st grade created some very colorful snails. The students listened to a story about snails and talked about the shape of a snail shell. They were shown how to draw a spiral and how to make a snail living in its 'environment.' The students used construction paper, sharpies and watercolor paint to create these beautiful pieces!
