Reverse Halloween Parade!
Friday, October 30th starting at 10 am.
We are excited to announce that this year’s Halloween parade
will be a reverse parade! Between 10 and 10:30 am K-5 students
will be lined up around the lower loop ready to show off their
costumes. Families are invited to slowly drive around the loop
and wave! All spectators will need to stay in their car. There will
be staff members available to assist with traffic flow. Please
only drive the loop once, to allow all families the opportunity to
see students in costumes.
A few reminders:
*Please send your child to school with their costume in a bag.
*Please no weapons.
*Please no face paint that needs to be applied at school.
*All students will be wearing a mask during the parade.

There is a bus change for tomorrow afternoon. Students riding the Eagle bus in the afternoon, who live on Ridge Road, Turkey Cove Road and Wallston Road, will arrive 15-20 minutes later than usual. Students who live along Port Clyde Road will not be affected. Due to a driver's absence, we will be combining two bus routes. There will still be space to maintain our covid-19 safety protocols.

FROM THE ART ROOM! During art class the CREWS from Mrs. Thompsons 1st grade and Miss Smiths K-1st grade created some very colorful snails. The students listened to a story about snails and talked about the shape of a snail shell. They were shown how to draw a spiral and how to make a snail living in its 'environment.' The students used construction paper, sharpies and watercolor paint to create these beautiful pieces!

Don't forget!! Middle-Level Athletics start on Monday! Students must be signed up prior to attending. Click the link for more information and to sign up.

We want to remind you that you can fill out a Free & Reduced Meals application at anytime. This program helps us feed our community, costs St. George MSU nothing, and if the percentage of our students who qualify for free or reduced meals exceeds the state average then out school could receive about $150,000 in additional state subsidy. If our percentage falls below the state average then we receive no state subsidy for economically disadvantaged students. You can fill out an application online at https://lunchapplication.com or access a paper copy at https://5il.co/i8la
