We have several drivers out for the rest of the week. Thankfully, Luce Transportation has agreed to cover the afternoon CHRHS bus run tomorrow (Wed, 5/1) so our students attending Camden will get home on time. Therefore, tomorrow in the
morning, there will be NO stop in Port Clyde; please meet the bus at 47 Main St. @ 7:55 a.m. or Wiley's Corner Mailboxes @ 8:10 a.m.
afternoon, the bus will ONLY be stopping at the Wiley's Corner Mailboxes, 47 Main St., and Port Clyde.
We will probably have the same schedule on Friday. However, on Thursday, Luce cannot cover so our bus won't arrive at Camden until 3:15 p.m.
I was told by Luce that there were some behavior issues and disrespect on the bus this afternoon. I will be reviewing the video tonight and calling the families of students who engaged in any of the disrespectful or problematic behaviors. If there are any behavior issues for the rest of the week, students engaging in those behaviors will be removed from the bus for an extended period of time. If Luce decides they no longer want to cover our Camden run because of the behavior of individual students, then ALL students will arrive home late. We are not going to let that happen and will simply remove any high school students who cannot ride a bus respectfully.
